A love story

decades in the making

As children, we stood together in a make-believe wedding without knowing what the future held. Years later, after growing up side by side and sharing a lifetime of memories, we're returning to our roots in Italy to celebrate the real thing. Surrounded by family, tradition, and the people we love most, we can't wait to begin this next chapter.

Car hire & driving

Exploring Umbria

If you're planning to explore Umbria before or after the celebrations, hiring a car is a great option. Most major airports offer a range of car hire companies. Driving in Umbria is straightforward — quiet country roads and well-signposted routes. Ample parking is available on site at La Torre Di Pila for both the welcome event and the wedding day.

Trains

Travelling by rail

If you'd prefer not to drive, Trenitalia and Italo run regular high-speed services into Perugia from Rome, Florence and Bologna. From Perugia station, a short taxi or hire car will bring you to the venue.

No car

Exploring without a car

Regional trains connect Perugia to Assisi (15 mins), Spello, Foligno and Spoleto. Buses link Perugia to smaller towns like Todi and Gubbio. Taxis and Uber are limited in the countryside, so booking ahead is wise. For town-hopping, trains are ideal; for the last mile to rural stays, a pre-booked taxi works best.
